Thanks Josh, and i agree Clints car is sick. Drive a hour to the track and pop wheelies and then head home like nothing ever happened. That car is very sharp.

Yeah that sucks about Cody's clutch. I have a blind hole puller for the pilot bearing whenever he gets ready.

I was set on them as soon as he took them off his car.
You'll have to ask him and see what he has for sale. What you need? I'm sure most of us around here have a few extra things we don't need.

The classifieds are your friend. There are lots of deals to be found at the right time. Scour them when you can.
By front end kit do you mean all tubular pieces or bushings? I know you're gonna need to drop some weight in the front adding that iron block.

The now deceased tranny was a built 4l80e but it tolerated many 1/4 mile passes as well as a lot of 150mph plus highway runs. It had only been in the car two years but I had put about 55,000 miles on the car in that period. No complaints, it served its purpose for longer than any of the four high dollar 4l60 I trashed. Thanks for the link Josh, hopefully that guy will split the set and thanks for the props Shane.

As for the carnage, I was on a remote Mexican highway running in excess of 130mph when BAM... all hell broke loose. The loud bang got my attention but when the *** end was about 5 feet off the ground I was pretty worried. I immediately pushed it into neutral and shut the engine off. I thought I had blown the motor due to all the smoke but as I regained control and started to slow down, I could hear the driveshaft beating the subframe connectors and duals all to hell. Thought the driveshaft broke and caused all the problems until we got it on a rack to discover the bellhousing is destroyed and the tranny failure is what caused the driveshaft to shear into right in the middle. One hell of a ride that night.

Clint, I know you'll have it up and goin soon. Just hate to hear when things let go after so much time, money, and effort was put forth. That's the nature of the beast I know, but it still sucks.
