I palm push 2-3. I think it's the clutch, it's starting to feel wierd and pedal is sticking to floor after 2-3 shift and it's a battle to get into 4th sometimes, then I have to pump pedal. Put a beat down on a 03' - 04' Mach 1 that driver said ran 12.8 though.

and it's pretty obvious the previous owner truly only drove this thing on the highway. Have the rock chips all over the bumper/hood from tailgating trucks to prove it! So it's no wonder the stock clutch was having an easy life

Oh and photos look great Dan! Your camera is witchcraft, makes my car look good...

Mine did that when first got it. Everything I read said to do the "drill mod", which I did. It didn't solve the problem. Swapping clutches is one of my favorite things to do. I'll help out.
Swap the slave too.
I just happen to have a master that has 6 (six) miles on it, for half price if you
Want to replace that too. I put it in, then got the adjustable one.

The best thing you can do for a m6 car is to put an adjustable master cyl in it. I set mine up to engage about 3/4 up from the floor. You will be amazed how much faster you can hit your shifts. It helped out on the launch too.

The M6 guys were running new set-ups, and not enough tire in some cases at Thunder Road Friday night. And they were stuck in the mid-12s all night. Here is what it takes to run a 12 flat or high 11s in a 6 speed f-body. Its all in the launch.....this is 98blueZ in monroe btw. And I give Josh all the credit in the world, he is a damn good driver.

Dicky whooped that ***, but he was running a beast that day.

The launch makes a big difference for sure.
My fastest et EVER was with a 2.1 60' I left like I was at a red light and sprayed a 125 shot. Ran an 11.6 at 122 mph. This was a bolt-on and nitrous only setup, with a 245/50/16 BFG drag radial on LT1 Trans AM wheels.

Get the right setup and even less than perfect drivers like myself can run 11s pretty easy.

I'll do better next time out. I do this **** for fun. It sounds like you've stopped having fun. Something to think about.

Yeah I will fine tune the adj master this week. The clutch not grabbing saved my rear end though, cause I was clutch dumping @ 4k the last run or 2. Looking at all these clutch kit prices isn't good though.

Who's this directed at?

For me, the last year or so with my car has been aggravating. Its just been problem after problem. Most of us have families, so time and money can get get real hard to come by. I am/was at the point where I feel like I'd be better not even having it. It wastes too much of my time, energy, and money, and I don't even drive the ******. Its had 200 miles put on it in about a year (most of those have been within the last month) and 1500 in 2 1/2 years. But friday, nights like friday, make it all worthwhile....I might keep this POS after all.

I am anxious to see how well this combo works. I bought a set of comp engineering shocks 2 months back and they worked much better than the stockers I had before but the car was still leaving to hard for them. So I decided to step up the game!

I like the LS2 GTO's. I don't think I would do what I've done to my car if I had one. I'm sure I would do some bolt-ons but as far as camming and all that stuff probably not. The IRS to me would be no different then having a 10 bolt so I would leave it as a quick and comfortable cruiser. Do some appearance mods and call it a day.
