Yeah that was me. I thought that was you, but wasn't for sure. That was the first time I have seen you in person, so now I know. When my buddy got back in the car he said yaw was talking about cars a little bit, and he asked me if I knew who you was. I said I bet that was Cody.

Congrats Cody. I just got my exhaust finished up. Wrap is a must for the rear mount. It runs great now. Todd, gonna need some adjustments soon.

That's messed up Wade! But, possibly true. Either the tranny can't handle the new power or the '98 computer can't think fast enough to make it shift. But, that new motor shouldn't be behind a 4L60 anyway. It needs a 350TH or 400TH with transbrake. This motor wants to shift at 7k or above and the 4L60s are not designed to do it. Put one of those babies behind it, and it's 10s on the motor and 9s on spray.

7k rpms + 4l60e =
If you want to talk the build/tranny over with my trans guy I can hook you up with his contact info. He is semi-local, very good reputation, and very good prices.

Lol I was just messin. It runs strong for sure. His stock trans tune was trash!!!!!!!! I have been playing with it tonight but for some reason I cant get it to drop down into 1st. It always starts in second. Everything else is fine. Still have 4th and lockup.
Im not sure but could his linkage being off have anything to do with it???? I cant manually pull it down to first because of the linkage. I can command it in the scanner to do everything I want........

Get that thing ready. Im coming to town tomorrow to race the fastest thing I can find. Rather it be on 4 wheels or 2. Wade, strip that van out and remove some glass and lug nuts and ill give you another shot at the pickem up from a dig. I'll give you the move again and stay on motor. Lol

Oooook... still no 1st other than when commanding it but I got it shifting at WOT on the 2-3 and it feels great. Its gonna be a fun playtoy when he gets the rear done and get this trans issue worked out. Also the TPS reads 100% in the logs every time.

Well we got everyone feeling pretty spunky in here lately, cars/trucks and new combos coming together, tunes being done......we outta do a track and/or dyno day when the weather cools some. See where we all are on the pecking order eh? Nothing like a little friendly competition ...
