Nope it didn't have my wheels on it, that was with the SS wheels all the way around. The weather was unbelievably good that day. It runs low to mid 12 usually. This car has no weight removed at all. Still has the front and rear bumper supports and all. He also has the black 11 sec TA and the yellow ZO6

Mods are:
Lid/filter
ZO6 intake
ZO6 cam and springs
SLP Ram air
Hooker Lt's
SLP Borlamouth
Vig 3400
3.73's
Weld wheels

So when I tell you your car will go 11's......
I was riding in his SS today and he had 5 timeslips in the console from 9/26 It ran 12.200,12.23,12.25,12.25 and 12.30@115-116. I looked back at the weather and it was +1600ft alt.

You guys better get ready, we'll be racing again real soon. We should all meet up and make a trip to Prescott if they are still open.

I just finished putting the lights up on the house. I managed to neither fall off of the house nor knock off a sheet of shingles. One of the advantages of being of wee stature. I didn't want to double back anywhere, so I mapped it out, then spliced it together in a few places to make it exact. I've got fire insurance, so what the heck.

Camaro Bradl and Helaina just left. She is a great girl. I really liked her. Not even in the same category as his last insignificant other. Anna LOVED her. They played and had lots of fun. It was really cool to see Anna communicating with a deaf person. The sign language we've been practicing for so long paid off BIG TIME. The best part: In American sign language, the sign for shoe is very similar to the sign in German sign language, for LESBIAN, I'm so happy. Also, the American sign language signal for "I don't care" means, "**** it" in German sign language. I think they're pretty much interchangeable here, and that's what I mean most of the time anyway. I'm so happy that I could teach it to Anna before age 3. I'm a "shoe" in for Super-Dad candidate for sure.
Other than those two, much of American vs. German sign language is the same. "poor" is different, and I prefer the German version. The same goes for chocolate.
Another really funny thing, is that when lip reading; "Castle" is easily mistaken for "*******." This made for a lot of fun for me with Anna saying, "let's go play in the castle."
Brad really likes this girl and actually spoke to me about marriage and children.
He was unable to bring me beer, sausage, and sour kraut. Damn.

Thursday night, Josh, Kristy, Andrew, Megan, Jack, Linda, Brad, Helaina, Kate, Anna, and I hung out and cooked burgers. It was a lot of fun.

I think they might be open the last week or so of febuary....but greg may know better than me on that. They are doing some work to the track so that may play into the opening date some.

Sure looks good Scott, have you had a chance to do any tests with it on ( dyno or track ). Just wondering what the numbers are compared to the old intake.

Nothing yet wayne, just got it all on yesterday afternoon. Greg is going to tweak on the tune and see how the tables and wideband readings look before i can lay into the throttle.

It's the single plain Victor Jr. intake for LS1s (EFI version) with the low profile edelbrock elbow. Greg came up with the tubing to connect it to the airlid. The MAF is deleted for the Speed density tune.

Dallas is just about all 1/8 mile racing now. Me and greg were talking about kennedale a month back on there program. They run 5-6 nights a week during the regular season and they have some very fast cars (5 sec. 1/8th mile LS1 style cars).

HRP you don't hear much about it like you used too but it's still a true 1/4 mile track. That's a hellacious drive though

NPR you get 3 things from what the locals down there are saying, either you will break something before you leave, either run a new best or the track personel will **** on you and take your money (we know about that don't we?). I think alot of those guys are going over to SCR or hattisburg to race but if i had my choice hattisburg would be the place with some of the faster street cars being there.

Kennedale is your closest bet with HRP and Hattisburg being the farthest. I have made a few long distance drives to race in january and early febuary before not sure about this one though.

If your serious about it you need to ask in the Texas section about HRP on LS1tech. Ask about SCR and Hattisburg in the southern section on LS2.com and ask about Kennedale in the Texas section on LS2.com. You can probably find out if they are open and what dates and times they will be open.

If ya'll are wanting to just do a get together instead until the tracks reopen we could do a dyno meet like we used to do years ago. I'm not big on dyno racing but it's something different and you get to play with your cars some.

The closest dynojet around is in longview i think? We have a mustang dyno close to Texarkana but he is on the pricey side. East Texas muscle car should have there dynojet rolling by mid January from what the owner told me and gave me some rate quotes on the fee for dyno pulls.

single pulls are $60 for 3 pulls
5 people meet he could do 3 pulls for around $50
10 people meet he can do the pulls for $10 a pull

Something to think about besides driving 4-5 hours to race.

Everybody wants to see what kind of numbers the Volvo puts down once it's finished! I'm up for a dyno meet!
