Default MS4 and 4K stall..now nitrous

I have the MS4 cam with a Yank 4000 stall, Fast 92/92, 42lb fuel injectors all on stock bottom end. I'm looking to get a system and spray around a 125 shot. Now my question is with my cam and stall will I be able to spray a 125 shot or should I switch out to a 3600-3800 stall converter. I really want to keep the setup I have now. So any help you guys could give would help out...thanks

you should be fine either way. If it was me i'd keep the 4k stall, i'm running a 3200 stall with a 150shot and spray at 3400. So basically i'm sprayin right out of the hole but IMO a 4000 stall would be fine also.

Nice..I'm hoping to be around 11.00 with the spray. Right now with 2.73's, 4k stall, MS4, fast 92/92, M/T 27x10.50 and headers I am at 11.90@117

It may want to blow through the converter, Just make sure you don't hit the limiter or you can have a dangerous nitrous backfire, window switch would be best if you didn't have one.

If you were to run nitrous all the time then i would say go a little tighter on the stall, It will give you more top end. But if you just want to spray every now and then then keep the 4K.

You will be fine with the SS4000, just make sure to have a window switch. I have been running a Yank SS3600 and spraying a 150 shot with no problems but will be switching over to a Circle D 4C+ convertor soon.

Nice..what kinda times where you guys running with that setup??

I just switched out from 2.73's to 3.73's. I went 11.90's on motor with the 2.73's..So I am hoping to get to 11.00 or better with the 3.73's and a 125-150 shot.

11.7x NA
10.6x on spray

your goals sound about right. I don't think you will have any probs with 10s with the 150. with 200 no doubt about it.

Just because the convertor is labeled as a 4000 stall does not mean that is what it does.

Forget about the label for a minute and lets talk real world results. What does the car stall up to when sitting still with the brakes pressed. (Before the tires break loose)

What does the car Flash stall? This is when you bring the RPM up about halfway of the stall and then gun it.

You will normally see about 300 or so more Rpms of stall on the juice on a average street car. A car that has a NA stall of about 3600 normally gets the best results on the juice.
