Nitrous Express NXL nitrous kit
Anyone here have any experience with the Nitrous Express NXL Kit. This is the direct port style nozzles that go under the injectors. I’m looking for some pros and cons of the kit. Thanks

i used to have that kit on my 408. i used the NX intake with it as well made just for the NXL system. the intake had holes drilled into it so you didn't have to use the under injector nozzles. made 663 rwhp using a 250 shot. here's pics of the whole setup.

I have always heard to do direct port.over under the nozzle plus it has a lower hp output rating. Your better off going with a plate or go plumbed direct port. I have also seen alot of people on here selling those kits and they did not like them and they are really hard to resale. Talk to Dave nitrous outlet or another sponsor on here and get a prof. opinion.
What is your goal? What is your motor built for? Do you have a dedicated fuel cell?

Its a stock bottom end ls2 with ported L92's. I would like to spray 150-200. I will have a dedicated cell. I have heard a few pros and a few cons about the setup. Do some vendors knock it because they dont make out on the labor of plumbing it? I can get a pretty good deal on a slightly used kit. He wants $650.00 without bottle or line. I already have a bottle and a line

Good point. The car runs 11:40's on an average. I dont think the rails will make a difference. When you turn the key forward, they fill. The car will not be using any more fuel (N/A) than it did before. The spray pattern has me thinking now

I'm pretty sure the bigger the fuel rails, if they are bigger. gives a bigger reserve of fuel before the pump, and its enough to supply a 1/4 mile pass, i was going to get that kit a few years ago, but couldn't find the answer to the NA question, good luck, if it works that price is a great deal

We changed to a different rail setup that they offer for direct ports and ran our own lines and used a dedicated 2 fuel/2 nitrous solenoid with our standalone to eliminate our issues. We tried to use the system as it was but even with the fuel accumlator it would lean spike and we didnt like that nor did we think it was safe.

sounds like a great deal, my only concerns with that kit is how does the car run NA, with the injectors raised and the ring being lower, does the spray pattern stay the same, and will the car run the same time off the spray, shouldn't the bigger fuel rails make a bigger reserve to supply the system, without a dedicated system
We basically turned our kit into a fogger but using the injector pieces. Then again, we werent running 12's, 11's, or even 10's with ours. It was a 9 second stock longblock car and we couldnt live with a lean spike on initial hit with a stock rotating assembly.

In theory yes the bigger rails were supposed to probably do just that.

If you are spraying through a TB, even a plate kit is not ideal. The only way to do it safely is to use some sort of direct port whether you use fogger nozzles in each runner or by using the injector spacer setup with its own rails and distribution blocks. Trust me the injector pieces work when used correctly.
