So I went to the track last night for my first nitrous pass, and it was awesome! my car was running 13.2 consistently before the 100 wet shot was added and I ran a 12.57 last night... I’m sure I could of made a couple 10ths faster because my 60 ft was horrible but I was only able to make one pass because I’m sure that I broke my fly wheel, or my converter? But besides that I was pleased, and had a blast now all I can think about is either doing it again, or just going faster! My car is a 97 camaro lt1 and the mods are
4.10 gears
Hooker long tube headers
Magna flow cat back
w/ ORY
Torque arm
Sub frame’s
100 wet shot

12.57 at like what 116mph. what were you on street tires or drag radials by the looks it was a street tire..get a damn slick on there and you easily see 11.3x with the right 60ft and a solid pass...btw what kit is it that you have

Yea those are my only mods lol, and I thought my cars flex plat, or converter had broken on that pass? well this is kind of embarrassing because today I found out that the horrible noise was just my cutout... the wing nuts had came loose and it was opening and closing as the exhaust pusht it open lol.. What a relief!

Just throwing this out there, and feel free to call me crazy....... But why not open the cutout at the track? It's already trying to open itself to help the horsepower escape!

Nice first sauce pass. Sounds like you shifted into 4th just short of the finish. Maybe get the tune adjusted to run the rev limiter up just a bit.
