Default blow down tube
i was wondering if its considered nhra legal to have a blow down tube throughg a rubber hose? i have the 180d bend pipe, but the way my bottle is it would be routing the pipe at an angle right behind my rear bumper, i would like to just cut that pipe short and route the rest through a rubber hose outside a hole i already have in the side of the trunk. is that ok?

Im pretty sure that wont fly with NHRA. You can do what I did and just use -8an stainless braided flex hose with the proper fittings for your application and make it go anywhere you want

A rubber hose won't be NHRA legal. My tube was too short and I was considering extending it with a hose but I figured I mine as well make everything legal the first time around. I had HSW make me a custom length one.

Id prefer braided actually if its considered legal, didnt even think of that. Itll look a lot better than just a rubber hose, lol. I can just run it out of the trunk and seal the end to the outside with some silicone, or will I have to get a bulkhead to thread it to the outside?

You don't have to use a bulkhead, but it will look better. You can just drill a hole, put a grommet on it and stick the hose through.

find a parker store near you and have them make you a line designed to handle the press. here is mine, the lline is routed under the spare and it burst to the outside.

It needs to have a secured point otherwise the hose could exit the hole and whip around the interior. Use a bulkhead fitting or a rigid tube extending past the floorboard opening.
