I usually use a feeler gauge. Or a piece of .032 safety wire if I'm in a pinch.

So you own a 600+hp car and don't know how to gap plugs? Not knocking on you, just sounds odd!

I understand, do you?? You said in your 1st post "How to gap plugs" nothing about our favorite tools!!
Then you said you run your plugs un-gapped, which would not fire!! If your 1st, 2nd, 3rd post ect are misunderstood.
Most of us are happy to try & help you out until we get it figured out what your asking.
This is one of the few sites that are not over run with know it all, want to be's that ruin every other thread.
I don't know everything, but I do have 4 hot rods and know a little about this or that.

Good luck.

.

I run 10's on my 250 tune up. Not worth risking having too much heat in the hole.
My 2 cents, good luck.

As Mike said, a #6 plug is a bad idea. Most of us use a 7-8 for a HP engine. No way could I run a #6 plug.
I would rather wait until you get a #10 shipped over. I myself buy them 50 at a time.
I always have 3 plugs per hole ready to go so you don't waste time screwing around at the track. With a #6 plug,
you are running way to much heat through your engine. Either you've been real real lucky,
or you took out a ton of power to keep it together. Get some 10's & hang the heck on.

Whats done to your motor if anything? stock compression? shot size alone does not determine plug choice. assuming stock compression id just run an 8, 7 might be ok, but there's no reason not to run an 8 either.
