Stock 09 Z06 vs SS big bottle This may or may not happen but my friend has alot of $ and is quite cocky about his brand new Z06. He also has a 2008 350z 6 spd, he always gave me **** saying he can beat my SS with his 350z then he got the Z06 recently. I told him I would race his Z06 and he would take my paycheck so I said I would do that only if I can have his 350z if I win. I figure I could strap my SS down with a 150-200 shot of NOS and hope that my SS holds till the end and pick up a new 350Z. For the sake of if this would happen what do you all think the chances are of my SS beating his Z06 and what should I do to the SS to make it happen. My lil mods are in my sig.

Your probably going to get alot of wrong forum post but...................
You probably going to need at least that 200. The Z06 is lighter and more aerodynamic than the Fbody. Not to mention its a M6 and your a A4 without a stall, So he'll probably dog you out of the hole.
I dont know what kind of times your car puts down but I'm pretty sure that Z06 could see high 11's or low 12's with a good driver.
If he cant drive and you spray you might walk him though.

A new Z06 with only drag radials will run well into the 10's, hell bone stock and stock tires run in the 10's. Now if has done anything at all to the car he is looking at 9's. the fastest Z06, and a real street car with no roll bar and still a/c is running inthe 8's and can be seen in a current magazine. You better start picking on a C5 Z06, but they run mid to high 11's stock. I ran a 11.71 stock.

If he is a no drive then you MAY have a chance. But a very slim chance indeed.
Spray that thing out of the hole with a 150 shot, get you some drag radials, and don't look back.

If it's worth it, strip every single thing off the car. Get slicks and nitrous it.
Might as well bring it to a track and make it official.

I think you guys are giving the z06 WAY to much credit when it comes to running from a dig on the street. Their are a lot of c6z's that run mid 11's. LOTS. Any manual car with irs and street tires isnt easy to get great times out of especially with as much power as this car has.
Stall would make a huge difference sir. Dr's hook it up and spray and i think you have a fair shot.
