Oh yea, we will prolly end up putting more to it then that, just wasted too much of the bottle trying to find our problem and I only brought one 10lber , so we couldnt try it this time out. Will take some weight off to. We now want a 5.9x pass.

LoL yeah just rufflin' your feathers my friend. Very impressive indeed. I am surprised though with the fact that you're not using a dedicated fuel system in that time bracket, or at least considered it.

Haha. No problem. I have nothing to hide. It just runs great numbers.

We will be building a dedicated in the future, low pressure system blah blah, but it is not really needed with what we are doing right now, yes it would help but not that big of a deal right now.

What you got planned after the stock bottem end.

We run 3.89 gears and a th400 now. Had no use with rebuilding the 4l60 when we had a 400 sitting in the garage. Good luck on your steup.

Will do man. Good to know there is a good amount left in the baby. Gotta get some weight off the front end too.

Thanks man. Yeah I agree nothing really that special just good pieces and real hard work by pops and myself. We have done everything on the car, it always helps when I grew up around this and pops have been doing it for 20+ years.

As for after, Not to sure, gotta graduate college and get some money coming it before I decide that. But it will prolly be an aluminum 400 motor with big heads, solid roller, 4150 or 4500 style intake, plate or dp depending on the class rules. we will see.

6636 based on our data log is the highest before I got out of it, so prolly 6500 or so. It has a great converter in it, we will try the 200 get some info, get back with Greg at FTI and prolly make some changes to make it even better. He got it pretty close out of the box though.

WOW that is unreal...How stock is the bottom end... has it been apart or are there still factory pistons? Are you using the stock rods and bolts?. Have you removed any weight from the car? Don't mean to pry but man that is impressive.

BONE stock, lol. It has never been opened up but to put the cam in, stock rod bolts, stock oil pump, timing chain, pan, everything. The heads have never been of the car either. Motor has 300+ passes on it with over half shifting it at 6800-7000.

As for weight it weighs 3380 with me in it verified by corner scales, still has stock hood, power steering, abs, k member, a arms, brakes, rear bumper support, stock carpet/console, and 6 point in it. It is not lightweight by anymeans.

Holy Crap, I have read a lot of post with time's close to yours but they all seem to have rebuilt the motor or added pistons, bolts, and shaved the heads. and still call it bone stock. Sure they are stock Cubes but Not Factory Stock. Congrat's you are the man.

Yea, just how things work out. Some have the money to build that motor and not have to push the stock short bottom end. We are real impressed with our setup and it has more in it. Thanks man.
