Holy **** on a stick bro, congrats.

The build I will be putting together in the future will consist mostly of what you're running.
Magic Stick, TH400, 9", stock heads, NANO.

Now I've been torn on the converter choice.
Don't want to go too lose because I want to spray, however don't want too tight knowing I'll want a good short time NA and I'll be spinning pretty high with that cam.

What is your best short time NA with that new stall?
I also wanted to get a Circle D stall 4000 range, however I keep hearing all these great things about FTI. And the cars I've seen running them LOVE their stalls.

Any input? Any idea what your stall range is?
Thanks.

just curious, what are some easy-to-do weight reductions? because my 2000 camaro ss weighed 3780 with me in it and i'd like to knock off a couple hundred pounds without doing anything drastic...i just noticed your car weighs about 400 lbs less than mine, and im shootin for the 9's as well.

Basically full suspesnion. Just all regular bolt on stuff. Easy weight reduction? ummm seats out, a/c off, drag wheels, stuff like that

It is tight on motor, only a 1.57 sixty foot and 1600 rpm drop on shifts. It stalls to 3900 on the brake.

I love my FTI converter, greg is the man and will listen and make your converter the best he can. I highly reccomend FTI.

nice work i want to see that 60ft get lower...are you going to get it loosen up or was the track prep less than stellar...

you still rockin a ls6 intake with a 78mm plate or is it a fast with a 90mm plate...very nice times i wish i could still be racing but my car is in pieces, and we have snow on the ground

Im thinking our sixty foot timers are a little off, but it doesnt bother me, the track was great as well as our suspension setup, the bottle pressure was really low and the converter was made for more of a hit. We have 2 passes on it with the low pressure so dont know what it will do yet. Plus you gotta remember my car is pretty heavy.

It is a FAST 90 with a plate

This was a 150 shot ( 62N, 33F) HSW plate on real low bottle pressure due to a bad nitrous solenoid or something like that. Went 11.04 125 on motor the pass before with the nitrous converter in it.

There is more to come as we ran out of bottle to make any more changes and go quicker, next time out we will up the jets and shoot for that 5.9x 1/8 miles pass.

Oh yea, garage built car that weighs 3380 pounds with me in it. Heavy son of a gun. will have video later.
SOmething just seems off. I had a camaro with cam only 6.0 and ran 11.002 on motor and 7.55 in the 1/8. On a 150 shot it only went 6.6-6.7's with 1.38 60ft in the 1/8. It weighed 3650 though with the iron block. I think the converter was a little to tight but still we are talking .4-.5 in the 1/8.

that kit hits HARD. i'd think +14mph on top of an already 125 trap would take more than 150hp (which is apparently less due to the solonoid issues). dayum. no matter how you cut it your hard work is and has been obvious, keep up the good work. i love seeing the cars that hook! anyone can make power, it takes effort to stick it.

So what are you trying to say? 7.55 in 1/8 doesnt add up to 11.002 on motor btw.

It has tight converter in it, it only goes 1.57 sixty foot on motor and drops 1600 rpms on shifts???

Thanks a lot man, we are sure surprised with it, I expected it to go 10.0's high 9.90's on the 150 but were pleasantly surprised when the .86 came up and with more left in it. There is a lot to be said about the whole setup we put together. Were not trying to fool people, it has an 62F jet in it, no need to hide anything.

Well thats what my car used to run, pretty much every pass. It used to run 11.7 on motor until I changed gears and the trans and it went 11.0's.
What doesnt add up is a 6.2x in the 1/8th on a 150 shot with cam only. I have had many f bodies with all with nitrous and with LS6, heads and cam ls1, LS2's, iron block 6.0's and a few other combo's out there and no cam only motor with a 150 went close to 6.2x.

According to the drag calculator on here you would have to have 633hp to go that et with your cars weight. So take off 150hp for the nitrous and you have 483hp on a cam only auto car? That same calculator was less than 10hp off from what my car dyno'ed when I put my info in for a 150 shot and my 1/8 mile times.

HAHAHA you are a joke dude. Just because your cars couldnt do it doesnt mean it isnt possible. I guess there is always one jealous hater out there. I am known all over and so is the car, because it runs the number and is impressive. What do I have to hide? It runs 11.04 on motor and then went 9.86 on low bottle pressure, that is a 1.18 gain, that isnt very hard to believe with a tight nitrous converter. Get your facts right before coming at someone accusing someone of lieing.

Have a good day.

Thanks man. Glad to have you out there. Ended up being good trip for you. Always gonna be one person that thinks because they couldnt do it then it is impossible, no big deal. Been dealing with it for a long time. I should have showed you the jet and everybody else so there is no doubt. Single 62N 33F, **** I dont even have a 67N I lost that accidently and the biggest I have is 72N and I can assure that wasnt in the car, I was trying to put it in for the second pass but pops said we should take our time. haha

so just curious how to do you explain a 100 shot car with lid, full exhaust, and a tire with the wheels being the only weight off the car. Cause I havent seen a calc. come anywhere close to my slips.
1.54 60' 7.0@96.9 in the 1/8th (1/4 slip in sig)
