Default fan nozzle placement, filter or bottom of the lid neck?

I've got everything up and working and I can't decide where to place the fan nozzle? It's a nos 5177 dry kit and I have all the fuel upgrades, inj/fuel pump and all. Should I install it in the filter or the bottom of the lid neck aimed right at the maf? I had it on the side of the neck on my old lid but I want to go stealth mode this time around and not hack up my brand new lid. What would hit harder? It will be a 125-150 shot.

It's going to hit harder aimed right at the MAF about 4-6 inches away from the MAF wires.Installed in the filter may result in lean issues. There are posts by Robert56 with best nozzle locations.

Jump over to our instructions page...we have a few sections marked on there where we've seen the best results.

The middle of the filter IS 4-5 inches from the maf. I had it on the neck before. I just may go that route again or in the bottom of the lid neck facing the maf. It would be about 3 inches from the maf there.

I did and didn't see any single nozzle setups.

I would put it in the bottom of teh lid neck and aim it directly at the MAF.

I did just that. I am glad I had a old lid and tray to practice on. It took a while and I had to cut the tray alot for the line and nozzle to move around but it worked great. I couldn't get the lid on at first so I had to make the hole much bigger so the line could move around. I just put the lid on the tray and drilled from the bottom side of the tray into the lid. (off of the car of course) then made the hole in the lid just big enough for the nozzle adapter. It worked great and the nozzle don't move at all. I also re-routed my line going to the nozzle and put black wire loom on everything. The only thing you see are the solenoids. It's a perfect 3 1/2 inches from the maf and facing it. Next are new br7 plugs and off to get the timing adjusted. I'm going to start with the 125 pill and throw the 150 in there if all goes well on the dyno. What should I gap the br7 plugs at? It makes 423/390 now on motor. Hoping for 550 on the hose.
