ok, heres one for ya, to get the fastest SS here on ls1 tech do i have to run faster then 9.62 or faster then the mustangs 9.40?

.62 is what I would say personally, but you're gonna want to go faster then that because we are heading out on the 11 and it should go .50 something on these 241 heads...

cool, i might head to the street night tomorrow and see what i can do with 100 shot. 9.9 first pass with 10-1 air fuel. we shall see. if i can get it down the shitty street night track maybe i will pill it up and see if i can go or blow.

bumped it to 150 hit and ended up first pass with a 1.31 60 foot and 9.51 @ 140
tried for a second pass with 150 psi more in the bottle to lean it down a little, ended up almost on the bumper so i peddled it and went 9.60 @ 140

gonna bump it to 200 in a couple weeks and see what happens

direct port, motor plate and i see what looks like under the hood of a very light car.
if its got good parts i know she will take atleast a 300 hit tuned up right, that said, looks like you have a good shot at going the right direction!!

good luck, any specs? solid roller? internal parts?

The car is going to be pretty light...hopefully. I only want to use 300 if I have to, but the motor pretty much has the best of everything for what it is. It is still a hydro roller....guts include Wesico, Callies, Eagle, etc., etc....

And thanks for the kind words man. RPM has really done some really neat stuff with this build for me. In my perfect little world I will put up an 8.9x. But I don't want to hurt the motor doing it, so we'll just play it by year. Competition has been getting stiff around here.

rpm knows there stuff very very well so im sure you are in good hands and most goals will be obtainable, they are very good.

Great question. I was following format from pervious lists, it wouldnt be hard to do that, but I think it can get too picky maybe then some will want it split by the make of car and then it could get to transmission type. Easier to do it how we have, maybe it should be worded. "fastest stock cube nitrous list, which I believe the list is to keep the fastest times that were recorded by any stock cube car. IDK just thinking outloud

just doesn't seem to fair to the little guy since it not split up.

stock cube is stock cube. just compare your self to who you compare to. like i look at the list and compare my self to the stock cube guys with full bolt ons, cams, stock internals. if your a bone stock vette on spray, compare yourself to bone stock vettes on spray.
if you broke it down it would be a pile of work and pretty silly just to see some guys go from a number 15 on the list to a number 5 on the new list
