Default Hard Line Questions

I'm thinking about building my plate kit with hard lines to clean up the install. Heres my questions

1. Can you use brake lines?

2. I've read that the brake line flare and the N2o Flare are different so which flare tool would I need? 37 degree or 45 degree?

3.Also would it need to be a single flare or double flare?

Also pictures help ton's! I found a couple of set ups on Nitrous Outlet website and thats kinda what I'm basing my set up off of.

Yes you can use 3/16 brake steel line. AN is 37* and you dont have to dbl flare as long as your flare is not crooked. Is this a 4150 plate?

You can buy their hardline kit hardware and just the solenoids seperately. I know this, because that is what I have done. I already had purchased the plate about a month before they showcased the specific plate kits. So rather than buy everything again. I sent Nitro Dave a pm and was able to buy their hardware seperately on their website.

Yeah, I would just call Dave. I'm almost positive you can buy the lines themselves and I'm sure it would be cheaper and save you the headache than making them.

Honestly the stainless stays looking nice alot longer than brake line.. If you want it to look nice use stainless. You need a single flare. 37 degree preferably but in all honesty a 45 will seal when tighten correctly.

Dave
We offer the hardline by the foot with the nuts and sleeves.

I was thinking about that after you said it, and I think I'll use brake lines and have them powered coated to match my engine bay. Should look good. When I'm done do you want some more pictures for your website?
