whats too far to drive on a plug BEFORE makin a pass to read them?
I am headed to the track this weekend and driving my car there. Its about a 20 min drive and i would like to change them while its easy and cool (car and air temp) before leaving for track. Will this affect my plug reading? Should i just wait and do it at track? I know not to run after the pass but wondering before

From what I have read you want as little time on them as possible. Most people recommend changing the plugs, towing/rolling/pushing it to the staging lanes and then shutting it off right after your pass. See if you can get someone with a ATV/golf cart to pull you to and from the lanes for a pass.

We will only drive from the trailor to the lanes(class mandated) we have "warm up" plugs we use to drive it around to warm it up/tech /in and out of the trailor. those are normally our motor plugs in the 9 range. once the car is warm and ready put a fresh set in and drive to the lane and turn it off.
