Default Okay got my n20 going, but now Im loading up on fuel?

Okay got my nitrous going. and I have the microcontroller all set up. But it seems when I use it, and I let off the throttle, it loads up on fuel, the car will die, and the a/f will go to 10.0 on my wideband, I can put it in gear when still rolling, and let out on the clutch. "in a higher gear". the car will start right up, but it will take a min. for the fuel to clear out of the intake, and the a/f to come back up. on the last run I did, I seen a puff of smoke come in under the dash, I know it was from the fuel loading up, so I shut it off. IS there anyway I can get the fuel to shut right off when I let off the throttle? or any other ideas? thanks.

Are the nitrous and fuel solenoids wired differently? Have you taken the fuel solenoid apart to make sure theres no debris in it?

No they are wired up the same, to come on and off at the same time. Im new to nitrous. when I let off the throttle, shouldn't the nitrous shut down immediately? Or should I turn off the arm switch? I wasn't too sure on some of the microedge settings. Is there any microedge users on here that can help? The selenoids are new.

Strange? so the nitrous is shutting off but you are still having residual fuel spray without WOT. The noid is either not closing completly as stated before or its still being activated when you let off the throttle. I would try a test run. Engine off & with both the fuel & nitrous disconected at the plate have the fuel hose placed in a catch jar. Set the microEdge into a mock WOT run setting & after you let off the pedal see if it contiues to spray fuel.

I will do that tomorrow. thanks for the help. Yeah it seems like that's what its' doing. unless I have the controller not set up right. I called and talked to hsw, they are so swampped. I wish somone on here has one, and can walk me thru the setup. it just seems like when I let off the throttle after nitrous run, it dies, the rpm's goes to zero.. I get it started again, and the a/f shows 10.00 and takes about 30 secs to clear out. I will do the test tomorrow, and hopefully someone can walk me thru the settings also. Thanks for the help.

Set the microEdge Windows to Gr1 & set the Min RPM to 0. Keep key on accessory, hit arm switch ,press pedal to floor to activate and watch the fuel flow, It should stop after you release the pedal.

That's what I will do tomorrow. thanks for the help, and if it still flows alittle when I let off, then I'll dissasemble the selenoid and check out the seal/plunger. If it does stop on a dime when I let off, could it be something I have set wrong on the microedge, not stopping it when I let off the throttle?

Why don't you post up your setting that you have now on the microEdge.

Okay I tested it, and when I let off the throttle the fuel selonoid shuts right off, but you can still see fuel oozing from the nozzels in the plate. like it's excess fuel in the line. I took apart the selonoid, and cleaned it, the seal, plunger looked great and flat. put it back together, and getting ready to try it again. here is my settings on the microedge.

Now I had to tie the tps wire to the blue throttle pedal wire, because the purple wire on the t.b. had the selenoids clicking off and on real fast. alot of ls2 goat owners ran into this problem. so I did this, but now wot tps voltage is 2.07 so I set the trigger voltage to 2.00 and have no problems kicking on the selonoids now. so here are the settings.

stage 1. windows min rpm. 3,000 max rpm 6300
stage 2. windows min rpm. 3200 max rpm 6300
trigger stage 1. 2.0v stage 2. 2.0v reset voltage. 1.2v
stage 1. lowest gr. 1
stage 2. lowest gr. 3
shift rpm. 5,000rpm
drop rpm. 1,000rpm.

any others you need? thanks for the help.

Settings look correct. I can hear the noids shutting down & I see what you mean about the excess fuel. I would call HSW & get thier feedback on this.
