Default New motor. How long before you can spray it.

Just finished up my NA tune on my 408. Motor is forged, Diamond nitrous coated pistons, Callies crank and rods. I was just wondering how long do you wait to spray a new motor or how many miles do you put on it. Right now I have around 150 miles it lol.

You'll like that 408. Less spray to run similar numbers. Let me know how it does.

Back when I had mine - put the 408 in... tuned the motor on the way to the track... Made a motor pass... Sprayed it next pass...

John, I am a firm believer of break it in like you are going to treat it. We have taken brand new motors with nothing more than a few heat cycles while N/A tuning it on the dyno and then introduced the juice to it..
