Default question about my guage

I had my bottle filled for the first time. When I put the bottle in the
car there was a pop and this little button came off the side of the guage.
I don't know where it went. What was this thing and do i need it?

I dont see a picture but it sounds like the plug that goes in the body of the gauge. If the gauge is over pressured from over filling or over heat the liquid will build pressure and blow the plug out. Then your liquid will leak out.

So what if you just got a kit and the gauge is leaking out already?

I'm going to have to agree with Brad and Dave. all nitrous gauges are liquid filled with glycerin. The liquid expands with higher pressure or Heat. I suggest you use the contents of the bottle and replace the gauge. hopefully the glycerin didnt get all over your car. Its a PITA to clean up. I've always had to use brake cleaner to get it off my tools.

You will have to talk to the manufacture you got the gauge from. We warrenty our gauges from manufacture defect.

If the gauge gas been frozen and then taking a shock from gravity feeding, over pressured, or mistreated we do not warrenty.

If it just poped the plug off and it still worked fine just put the plug back in and go.

The plug came off of mine the day I got it and most of the liquid came out. It still works but its a PITA having to keep popping the cap on and gettting that crap all over the place.
