Will i need to retune?
I have a Nos wet shot plate system going on my car here soon along with a racetronix fuel kit. I just had my car tuned two weeks ago, will i need to have it retuned if i run a 100 shot? My cars mods are in my sig.

Another option which is very nice for a street car is a SAFE tank. This is our standalone setup. It will allow you to run the 100 shot without pulling timing provided you run high enough octane gas in it.

Retune the car. Pull at least a couple degrees, if not more in the timing department.
The heat range 6 non projected plug will be o.k., but ONLY WITH A 100 HP LEVEL. Anymore then that puta #7 heat range in the car.
Standalone is a nice setup, but might be a bit much for the initial setup. Start trying to put 150 to 200 to the car, along with a cam, so it's up in the 500 rwhp range + then I would absolutely put a standalone in the car.
Alot of this info is in the sticky above.

I don't see any reason not to jump to a 7 heat range plug....
They aren't going to foul, hurt performance, etc (unless your tune is too rich in the first place)...
I drive mine on the street all of the time with 9's in it and have never had any of these problems that people worry about with a colder race plug.
+1 on the standalone being overkill.... Also not liking the suggestion for other reasons....

I ran #9's in my car on the street and it was fine, but that was a 13.5 to 1 race fuel deal.
#7 will be fine, like said, it's only going to give you problems if your idle tune is way off.

This car is my dd in the spring/summer, so i need something thats not going to be fouling or causing driveability issues. The car will only be sprayed on the track, which wont be too often.

what other things need to be bought for a complete, safe, installation? Im thinking FPSS and a bottle heater for sure... anything else? I have to get a racetronix fuel system for a 100 shot as well correcct? and also, i didnt see in the description, and forgot to ask the seller, but how is this system activated?

oh, and are nitrous accesories for the most part universal? for example, nitrous outlet and harris speedworks have accessory packages, but i dont know if they are just made for that specific brand or if they will work with my nos system?

You definatly need either a bottle heater or NANO system to ensure proper nitrus pressure. Don't fool with a FPSS, they are ALL JUNK. I'd dare to say that at least 50% of the time where I've worked on a non-functional nitrous system it was due to a faulty FPSS.
Put a good pump (or two) in the tank.
That system's only activated by a wot switch. I'd ditch that and get a controller like Nitrous Outlet sells that allows you to use your TPS and RPM signals to activate the kit. A good nitrous filter will also be a major necesisity.

If thats how your going to spray the car I would add some high octane gas and the br7's when I went to the track.
A heater is very important as said. If you are looking for an package deal we offer them as well.
Best of luck with your setup. If you need help with anything or a second opinion just let me know sir.
