dry 50-75 shot ?'s i was wondering what is needed to run a dry 50-75 shot on my car safely? im a newbie to this nitrous stuff, so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

i think your gonna need injectors for anything more than a 50 shot. if you dont a 50 might be worth it. if you need injectors you should be looking at 100-125 shot.
get your average dry kit, bottle heater. if your going with a big shot get an interface and spray post MAF

if your gonna max your injectors your gonna end up spending money on injectors and a tune so you might as well get your moneys worth and do a 125 shot, thats all im saying. anything less than 100 imo is barely worth it.

the stock fuel system will support roughly 450whp. If your mods consist of only boltons your fuel system should be capable of handling up to 125 shot dry. Start with a 75 shot and a colder plug, 50 is not worth messin with imo. Oh and dont forget to pull 3 degrees timing to be safe, you can always add it back if the tuneup looks good...

My expierence logging my 99 (99 and 00 have 26 pound injectors, other year LS1's are 28 pound), my fuel injectors were maxed out over a 75 shot. A 100 shot my AFR was 13.1 and Injector duty cycle was 106 ish. I switched to 42's and was in the 70's for IDC and AFR was low 11's.

Yes. with 26lb injectors that will probably be the pushing the limit tho... upgrading injectors would be a good idea after that. Scan it and verify... no two cars are exactly the same. You can start with a 50 shot, but I can almost gurantee you that a 75 shot wont hurt a stock car. Just pull the timing and install a colder plug... all should be good!

Here is the dyno from that w/ AFR Dry shot and a wet plate shot. Same day same car.
Dry Shot injectors 106 % Duty Cycle (so the MAF was getting a good read), Dual nozzle Dry shot estimated @ 75 shot
Wet shot (was shooting for 100 shot but fell a lil short)

Sorry for all the questions, but if I get a wet nitrous kit how much timing do I need to take out for a 75 shot and am wondering how I retard the timing without a handheld tuner or window switch? Thanks

Harris speed works and nitrous outlet both have nitrous controllers w/ built in window switches. imo with your small injectors, I would get a wet system from one of these 2 vendors... You can pull fuel off the rail and not mess with changing injectors. Id say if you had 28lb injectors a dry system would work nicely up to 100-125 shot depending, but those 26's don't leave you any room.
