Just curious what the nitrous record is (if there is a record for this) for a 100% stock internal LS1? Stock h/c/i ect.

I know a guy here with a GTO cant remember if it was the LS1 or LS2 but he was spraying a 300 shot on a stock bottom end and he used it pretty often.

You said stock bottom end, so does this mean he had a cam and/or heads? Just wondering if he had a complete stock long block or not

Im not sure what the fastest is, but its mid 10's im sure (Fbody). A bet a ls2 c6 could get deep in the 10's if the driver was willing to push the car.

I feel like I would have no problem running low 10s I just want that 9.99 slip, my car already runs 11.1's with just bolt ons. Im thinking of adding a 2 stage kit, 1st a 50 to get me out of the hole then 2nd a 125 when I hit 2nd gear, that's about as far as I will push it.

Should have no problem is the power department. Going to be up to the weight chassis tuning and power management to see how far you can go.

If I can help with anything let me know.

Nice times for a bolt on car. Car looks just menacing. If you would like to go over all your options for spraying into the 9's I would like to be apart of the car.

Pm me with some details on the car if you would like.

I've thought about a progressive controller and i'm still considering it. But this is why i'm going to use 2 stages right now https://ls1tech.com/forums/nitrous-o...ns-inside.html

well, with the right set up anything is possible. 10's with stock motor is doable with suspention, driver, tune up and weight.
we have one car, 6 speed. bolt on car with everything still in it. ac, power everything etc etc. 3800 pounds with full 17" rims all around with 275's up front and 275 dr out back pretty much full street car loaded up daily driver.
i got the car to run bottom 11's with 100 shot. thats with a 12 bolt and good track. with the 150 shot and cooler weather she should go 10's pretty easy if the track is there. thats with mac mids on the car.

Even take your "junkyard" motor setup. I bet that thing would still be close to the 9's even with a stock cam.
