Default 50 shot on stock plugs and stock timing?

Any reason I shouldn't be okay to do this? I want to move up to a larger shot, but not until I get a timing retard and some colder plugs.

I would say yes but the plugs are 2 dollars and change each(for me I don't think I got a discount). Timing is fine unless you have a VERY aggressive tune already. Spend $10ish and get the plugs. Going to cost you $40+ to fill the bottle. Seems like simple math to me!

I'd rather see you do it right the first time.

I would say plus is right the first time for a 50 shot, again barring a crazy tune, or other major modifications.

This is a wet shot on a stock tune. Mods are lid, muffler, and nitrous.

There is simple no reason not to swap plugs. They are cheap and could save the motor. Change the plugs. A br6ef would work great and be less than 20$ to change them out.

Ran my car on a 55 shot for quite a while, [ like 6 or 7 bttls].
Plugs were just fine.
I went to the 75 shot that I run now, did 1 run, shut down and pulled the plugs.
Sure enough, there were teeny tiny silver flecks on 3 of the 8 plugs.
I went to tr6 before I sprayed again.
Now some claim to have hit even a 100 shot on syock plugs.
I was having issues on only a 75.
50 shot?
You more then likely will be just fine.
But do you really want to worry whether or not your melting something everytime you spray?
Dude. even if you have to pay a garage to change the plugs, it might be a good idea.

i'm up at 100 shot with my car now and my buddies have been runnin nitrous for a while. they told me the NGK's 55 would be ok for the but if your timing is high you'll burn the spark plugs at least i did mine, rite now i'm with the NGKr6's now havn't tried spraying it yet pro goin to get fuel pump then tune for 150 shot.

basically i would just go to the NGKtr6's and try those i believe they're 3 stages down from a stock plug which is what u want for a 100 shot if u do move up. ( and u will ) lol

what are your mods? A stock car with some boltons will most likely be ok up to a 100 shot w/ tr6's... although I would start with a non projected tip br6ef. Many have sprayed 150 shots on tr6's but I wouldnt do it... its easy to nip a plug if your tune is not spot on.

For the rear passenger plug remove the coils and bracket and ge a ratchet that folds at the head and a 1 in wobble extension and a 5/8 spark plug socket

Takes me 20-30 min to do plugs

might as well go ahead and change them to where if you do run across someone and decide you want to bump it up you wont be restricted and not be able to for risk of damaging something...

just my .02 cents
