Either buy a purge kit or purge it through the motor.

The purge kit is a MUCH better way to do things.

It's not a good idea. Especially for someone new to this stuff.

Just buy everything you need before you spray and get it right the first time so we don't have a thread on here about how awful nitrous is because you hurt something.

The brand X purge kit is only 65.99. No since it taking a chance in having a nitrous backfire from purging into the motor.

Either that or loosen the B-nut at the solenoid and bleed the air out.

Tie in a bang button, bring it to 3500 and bang! But as stated, purge to air. I personally would never bang through a plastic intake.

purge kits are cheap as hell, if you cant afford one you cant afford to fill the bottle....just saying.

I've sprayed it in the burn out box before. Works fine, just watch out, it will hit the limiter before you know it.

Put a manual button and thumb it into the motor. When you hear a car sitting there getting ready to stage they hold the rpms just off idle then bam real fast rev, they are thumbing it or tapping the activation button. A purge gets the air out to the solenoid, but thumbing it gets it out through the solenoid. I do both.

I bump mine through the motor. Never had a purge kit in my life. I usually run it up to 3000 and then bump it through.

burn out or just hit it once before you race,it will surge but it will clear out and youll be ready to go.ive never had a purge either and ive had n20 for 5 years,so you should be ok.

If you aren't bracket racing or racing for money, no real need to risk blowing up your motor with a questionable purge. Purging is more for consistency then anything else.

I will have a purge kit this year before I take the truck out but never had one before. You occasionally will notice a moment of hesitation when you first hit the nitrous but it will have a virtually immeasurable effect on your time.

Obviously guys run a short burst just before the run but if you don't need that extra 10th why risk it? That is how I look at it.
