The Jaz 1 gallon cell fits perfectly where the battery goes. I put my battery in the trunk area. I use a Moroso plastic battery box (won't fit in the wheel well.)

The Jaz is plastic. Triangle Engineering is who you need for aluminum tanks.

Triangle Engineering is where you get the aluminum tank, as mentioned above. Here's some pics and more info for you.

Hey man,

If I order everything on that price list at that site, will I have everything I need to use for my 150 wet shot, as far as a stand alone fuel cell?

And what is that on the drivers side that looks like another small fuel cell?

Thanks.

Looks like you have a fuel cell in the battery compartment, NO????

I looked on Triangle's site, the smallest fuel cell I saw was 3 gallons and its 15 inches tall.

no, on the opposite side...didn't move the battery.

have to move the fuse blocks and mount as shown in the pics (or however you can do it)

have to trim a little metal to let the tank sit all the way down like i have it...i just mounted the pump right under the tank.

i think that's the correct tank.

any more questions, just lemme know

Triangle makes a 1 gallon cell, they just don't list it. If you want it a custom size they will do that too. Each cell is made to order for the most part. My parts list will get you pretty close to what my system is like. You can probably sacrifice some parts for others, but at least you should get the general idea.

Man, Triangle said the 1 gallon cell is $170.00.
6 3/8 x 6 1/4 x 12 1/4", is that the same one you have?

What pump are you using?

Man, they've upped their prices a bit. But yes, I have the one gallon cell cut down 4". If you get it have the mounting tabs moved to the top. It will fit into the battery area perfectly with no cutting. To mount it to the front frame support I justed used a threaded pop rivet into the frame. I'm using a Holley black, which will be a good amount of pump for what you are looking to do.

Here's a set-up that may be interesting - 2nd picture

Couldn't you just use the fuel cell for your stand alone?

How do you cut it down though?

Do I have to pay a metal shop to do it for me?
