Decisions pros cons nitrous
Decisions pros cons nitrous Ive been putting some money away for some mods (heads, cam, intake, Lt's). The more I research nitrous the more appealing it seems to me. The biggest thing is that I will spend about half the money and have more horsepower with nitrous. And I will be able to use it only when I want to. Is there anything I'm overlooking or other things to consider. From what I've read it seems like as long as it's done right it's really safe?

take no short cuts use Ebay and Craiglist and start small..pros, you end up saving money... and going faster.

This is just my opinion so take it how you want it, but don't buy anything used, especially a nitrous kit. Solenoids could have trash in them or are on their way out. You never know where the bottle has been. You don't know if some idiot was putting a torch to it to heat up the bottle.
There was a guy here that owned a shop and bought a nitrous kit with the bottle used and when he moved the bottle and put it down it exploded and he ended up losing a leg.
Get with Graham from NX or with Nitrous Outlet or HSW and they will set you up with a new kit without breaking the bank.
Leave that ebay and craigslist **** alone.

Thanks for the advice. I would probably do a new complete kit since there are some out there that are made specifically for f bodies. I would want to keep it down to as much as an exact science as much as possible and I wouldn't want to get something used and have any guess work. I'm still some what nervous about the idea of using nitrous. But I'm coming around.
