Ok so the run down on my car is.....383 with a th350 with a 4000 stall. I was spraying a 100 shot through a nozzle and it was picking up right at 100 hp. That was with 4 degrees of timing pulled out. I installed a stand alone fuel system, Nitrous Outlet plate kit jetted for a 225 shot and 6 degrees of timing pulled out. It only picked up 140 hp at the rear wheels on the 225 shot. I know for a fact its not blowing through the converter but I cant figure out where the power is at? It was tuned by a reputable local shop also. Any ideas or things I should try?

Where was the timing mark on the plug? Visable fuel ring?
What are your cam specs?
What fuel are you using?

I am running NGK 8es. The timing mark is all the way at the base of the tip(closest to the threads). You cant really see it at this point. I am running 112 in the stand alone tank for the nitrous and 93 in the main gas tank. As far as my cam I cant remember the specs right off. It was picked by engine builder. The only thing I can remember is the lift is in the 580 range. I know that is vague

Kinda need to know the cam specs. Some cams with a certain overlap and LSA work well with small shots of nitrous but the larger shots it can literally blow the excess out of the exaust.
Example. 242/244 580/580 108 lsa this cam will only work well with a small shot.
What is your compression? That plug may be too hot for a 225 shot.

If your timing mark is that low down on the strap you may have too much timing. Could have slight detonation which kills power and will eventually kill your engine.

The compression is 11.4:1. I will get the cam specs and post them up. So maybe a colder plug could help? What do you suggest?

It is a .082 nitrous jet and one size smaller than the matched fuel jet on a 10psi system. I hope I am making sense here. The car sounds great, it is smooth and clean during the run. It just runs like a car that has a 150 shot or so and not like one that has a 225.

I am going to the shop tonight and pull a few plugs just to make sure what I am telling you guys is correct on the timing. I know that we are pulling 6 by my Hyfire box but I want to check the strap and see where the timing mark actually is. I will post on this later tonight
