Yeah I enjoy watching Justin Smith run his car, thing is just stupid fast haha. But I think the op is trying to figure out the fastest nitrous LS1, not an aftermarket LSX block. Thats the way I read it anyways. I know Justin Smith did have the record for the fastest nitrous stock cubed LS1 for a long time, but Ken Roberts beat that with a 9.30.

I'm trying for a 9.9xx in a Camaro hard top with some weight reduction, full BMR drag suspension, Qa1 drag coil overs, 12 bolt with 4:10s, built 4l60e with a 2800 10" lock up converter, 28" slicks, going to spray a 250 progressive, the motor is all stog with normal bolt ons.
I just want to see what I can do on a truly stock motor ls1

yeah my car weighs 3225#s It had some issues on the spray last year going 11.50s... that was on a stock converter and stock suspension. i will have a tq arm and lcas this year along with a billet race converter and a few other additions and some stuff fixed

I dont have 1/4mile times but in the 1/8th, my 99 Trans Am just got done running a 7.206 at 97.38mph with a 1.52 60ft. Prolly not the fastest but I am happy and impressed with it. List of mods:
STOCK: LS1 Long Block (No cam swap, intake, or heads)
STOCK: Throttle Body
STOCK: Rear End and Rear Gearing (3.23s)
STOCK: Torque Arm
150 Single Nozzle Wet shot working through WOT switch and RPM Window Switch
Cheapest Long Tubes We could find
3 Inch Manual Cutouts
SLP Air Lid (Ofcoarse)
EGR and AIR Removal
Built 4L60e with 3200 Stall
M/T Drag Radials
HP Tuners
255 Fuel Pump
NO LIE: This is the mod list. We pulled the RF Tire off the ground with stock wheels and tires on front. I daily drive this car everywhere and I still have A/C. 7.2 1/8th would roughly translate to a 11.2 1/4 if my top end kept pulling hard. I love it. I believe 10.5s are gonna be hard to get without running a 250 shot and better rear end setup.
Oh Yeh... My Trans Am has 135K Miles! Did I mention that?? No. Ok. Yeh there ya go.
