Controller to pull timing???

Default Controller to pull timing???

Im looking to see if there is a controller out there to pull timing out then advance the timing again after im done spraying. I dont know much about this so any helf would be great. I woluld also like to add this is a N/A 6.0. Thanks for any help.

Theres a few out there just do a search. I ended up going with the "Timing Tuner" from one of our vendors here.

There is no "on the fly" timing pull option available right now.

Ligenfelter should be giving us an update soon.

Timing tuner pulls the timing only when you are spraying. You could consider that "on the fly." Hey nitrous outlet guys, whats your beef with the timing tuner?

I am aware. We sell/sold every timing tuner option for LSX cars at one point or another.

What I was stating is that none are available for purchase right now. Why would we have "Beef" with them? Not sure what your asking?

The first half of that post wasnt directed toward you. And what im getting at is whenever someone posts up asking something about a nitrous controller that pulls timing you say there are none. Also, in another thread you said the TT didnt have a delay option, and it does. It just seems like you are avoiding it as an option as a nitrous accesory.

Usually a "nitrous controller" is a progressive controller. There is not box that has a progressive that will pull timing. I was simply mistaken on the delay option.

I do try and avoid it as an option. First off is you can not verify the timing is being pulled with tuning software. This too me is very important. Especially when I have to offer it to customers.

Second, we have a horrible time getting them in our hands to ship out. Again this is a big concern when I need to be able to give an accurate time table for when a customer will have a part.

I have honestly never used that box in an EFI application. I think it would work well. Call the guys at MSD.

Harris Speed Works' "The Interface" is one option. I haven't used it but I saw a classifieds ad for a used one that looked tempting.

Harris Speedworks Interface is a great piece, pulls timing, controls air/fuel, and allows you to spray dry plate and dry direct port, and costs less than the msd timing twister. I do not understand why anyone would go with the timing twister over the interface.

To be honest the car is at "All American Street Performance performance" getting that and a fee other things installed before Jeremy furmato tunes it.

Search the nitrous section for "resistor mod".

It's basically a resistor(different ohms for different results) connected to the IAT sensor. When you trigger the relay it is run from it will trick the PCM into thinking the IAT is a different temp(204 in my case). The PCM will reference the value set in the Base IAT adder table for spark. I put a negative number in so it pulls instead of adds. -9 in my case. I do this in the cells above .60g/cyl so it only pulls when I'm at WOT.

I've got less than $10 in this.
