Default NON-projected Tip Spark Plugs??

Im going to step my shot up to a 175 and my tuner suggested a Non Projected Plug? Stock Bottom End, Cam, 255 pump.. I thought Id ask around and see what everyone thought about them. Also what would be the part number if anyone knows..

the #7 is fine for the 150-200 shot, I would go to a number 8 with anything greater than 200.

Slightly. Usually only when it is cold.

Agreed, .025" is too tight! .035-.040" would be preferred!

I have my br7ef plugs gapped at .032. They have been in my car for 5k and I have yet to foul one. I do alot of stop and go traffic and with the ms3 cam, so its not your ordinary stop and go. I have a good 5+ bottles through them as well. I am going to change them real soon anyways to new br7ef's.

If the tune up is clean at idle and part throttle they will last just fine. Even with the cam. But I do about the same as you. Change them way before I need to so you never have a problem.

for the first few bottles I put through the car, I changed them after every bottle. I was putting new plugs in it every other week. Always checking them after a run to see how they were burning etc. After all that, I stopped doing it and have yet to foul one. I thought I was on the rich side, but I guess not. Im only running 21* of timing too.

The plugs are more resilient than most would give them credit for. I ran mine the same as you do on the street.
