Default Can I spray this in the 1/8th?

5000 stall, 4.11 gears shifting at 7100-7200 currently. How bad will it be? Converter (I'm guessing) doesn't have an anti-balloning plate. Plan on getting it tightened up, just looking for extra e.t. with a small 100-150 shot on a plate kit, possibly with a progressive.

Might have to tweak your shift points a bit but I don't see why not.

Mine has A ballooning plate but I go through the traps at about 6500, i see no reason why you wouldn't be able too. I'm sure internally converters act different, but with that extra 700rpm you pull. Should be good

Ok so far so good, I know every car can and will act different depending on cam, gear and stall speed, but on average how much higher would that 100 or 150 shot push the rpm range? I currently don't have a transbrake in the car, I have one I'm going to install soon as it's sitting on the living room floor in a box still. I footbrake stall it up to 3800-4000rpm and the converter will flash to about 5200-5300 and pull from there. I figured nitrous on at 4800 and off at 6800-7000 and shift at 7000-7200. I was going to delay it about .5-.9 and start the percentage low at 25 or so and ramp it in quickly to 100 over a period of .5-1.5 seconds. I guess I'll need a non projected tip 7 range plug too gapped at ??? How much timing should I pull to start with on a 100 shot then a 150? 4 degrees on the 100? 6-7 on the 150? Car made peak power on 29 from 4000 up but runs fastest in the 1/4 with 30 then 31 from 5500 up to redline.

One extra question the car pulls the front tires pretty well already, it does has double adjustable afco's front and rear and adj. ca's and madman chromoly extreme tq. arm so I have adjustment in the suspension. Question is should I footbrake the car lower at like 2500-3000 and turn the gas on at 3500-4000 and let it flash from there or higher like I said above?

My 150 shot gives me about 800 more rpm. I would shoot it right out of the hole all the way to the end. But i like pulling the wheels!! I love my transbrake. I'll be at the track sunday. You going?

you could always get a Nos mini controller like I have. Set it up with a small delay so you don't blow thru the converter.

I was thinking somewhere around 600-900 more rpm. I can't wait to get this transbrake in there too, I'm sure it will be faster to the 60' with it, but I'll have to calm the launch down.

I'll be there for sure as always! Forecast may keep us from it though, I'm hoping it doesn't.

I am going to get a progressive of some sort. I like the nos mini, but I have also heard about the problem you were having with the internal tps not working correctly. Did you ever get that sorted?

I was thinking about the FJO as it looks like it has two harnesses with plugs that would make install pretty easy whereas the Nitro Daves, and NOS mini have just wires, not that it wouldn't be too easy to hook the latter of the two up, just looking for a quick and easy gain in e.t. while reading the plugs and making sure everything looks good.

Mines not an issue with the controller. Its an issue with my throttle cable not opening my tb up all the way

Gotcha, must be something wrong with the accufab linkage then. Might be the wrong size cable?

Did you ever look at or think about any of the other controllers before you got yours?

I think I am going to get the dyno tune plate kit with 15lb bottle, and the NOS TPS/WOT dual stage window switch.

Still trying to decide what I should do for pulling timing. MSD 8625? Full Throttle Timing Tuner w/ window switch? Or resistor mod on my stock ecu to trick it into seeing hotter or cooler IAT's and pulling timing in those cells.

I like the idea of the Timing Tuner from fullthrottle as it has a Window Switch built into it, a step retard w/ activation wire, ability to add timing above 3000 rpm or adding or pulling timing globally. I'd like to hear people's experience with this product and if it works like it should all the time.

I like the nos mini controller and the Nitro Dave's controller. Having a window switch, tps, gear lockout, start%, end%, delay, and build time features would be really nice to have, but with the amount of nitrous I'd be spraying for now I don't know if I really need all that. Just looking to spray the least amount of dope that will get me what I want.
