yeah it will be ok just for 1/4 mile. cause the 11 seconds or less the system is on won't really be a factor. that is how cars do it at the track and dyno on stock fuel systems and get away with it. now if you were going for top speed down the highway with it you may and probably will run into some problems

When I say full bolt ons, I mean everything. Headers, ORP, etc....A car making 340-350+ rwhp. I am sure a 150itty shot will be pushing, but I am curious to know if anyone has ran this setup safely for any period of time w/ a stock fuel system? TIA
BTW, my car is a 98 w/ the bigger injectors and better pump

YOur fine enen if it is a tnt kit, i ran an NX(wet) 200shot a few times on stock everything(in cluding manifolds, now i have headers(long tubes) and most all bolt ons, it will be fine, the headers accually richened me up so use an maft to dial in, and have some fun ( ps your long tubes LOVE the spray.

My car runs pig rich as it is. I think I am gonna be alright. 98 Fuel systems are good for up to around 540 rwhp, so I think i'll be alright for now

A freind of mine took his 2000 Z28 for many many many passes with a NX 150 shot with just 3.73s, cut off cats, FTRA, and a Dynomax Cat Back. The car went 12.7's N/A and 11.5's on the kit!

Been doing it for over a year using the NX kit with no problems of any kind.

I ran a 150 shot NOS 5177 "dry" kit for over 2 years on a stock fuel system and it worked great.

I ran a 12.16 with only exhaust,and gold air.
it would of went in the 11's with better than 1.98
60 fts.that was on stock fuel system and 500 miles.

You can get away with it but why not add an intank pump. Cheap easy insurance! Assuming you have 340-350 rwhp and adding another 125-150 rwhp youll be mighty close. Just dont see the need to operate with no margins for error. Id add a pump.
I would also start with a smaller shot and check AF and total HP on a dyno, and work your way up. I guess I am just more conservative

Well the more that I have thought about it, I probably won't jet up to 150 unless it's a special occasion . I'll probably just run a 100 shot to play with. My stock fuel system should have no problems with it. Thanks guys
