Default Help! installed new TR6 plugs engine now missing

I just installed new TR6 spark plugs and new plug wires to accomodate a nitrous kit but when i took it for a drive the engine is missing. What could be wrong? The new TR6 plugs are gapped to .035 (just as they came)

I didnt check the gap on the ac delco plugs that I took out, but they definitely have a noticeably bigger gap (.04 maybe?) could the difference in gap make it miss? Service engine soon light did not come on.

How do I diagnose a miss?

The TR6s kidnapped your engine? J/K. Usually the #1 or #8 wire loose.

Yeah, start with your plug wires. Make sure they click twice onto the coil pack, and 1 solid snap onto the plug.

Check your plug wires, but you may have gotten a bad "new" plug. I got a bad Bosch spark plug when I tuned up by Land Rover.

Check for a cracked spark plug.

This also.

I have also done this and it made it run the same way.

How much are you going to spray OP, I would run a non-projected tip also.

They make a BR6 which is a non projected tip in a 6 heat range.

If it were an LT1 I'd blame the opti.

fbodyjunkie Im spraying a 100 dry shot.

I replaced all the plugs on the drivers side and now the miss is gone. There were no noticeable cracks but apparently there was something wrong with one of them. Thanks for the help guys.

By the way the 100 shot of nitrous was disappointing. :S

The porcelain cracks very easily. A hairline crack is all you need for a miss fire. Be careful not to drop any plugs before the into your engine. Glad you found your issue.

Im glad that you got the miss fixed on your car. On nitrous I would recommend BR series NGK and not the TR serious because they are non projected spark plugs.
