Default Lovin' the stock cube nitrous progress.

well we got back to the track last night with my car, previously on the first ever outing spraying the car the car made some good power, but couldnt get down the track, went 150.22mph but had a crappy 1/8th and 60' - since then we had changed shock settings, swapped out the mt dr's for a set of 28x10.5's.

we made a bunch of half track passes, aborted a few runs, and managed to squeak out one full track pass by the end of the night.

best 60' of the night last night was 1.302, but the pass was aborted when it started chasing the wall. later found issue with the rear end not being square, it was 1/4" off from either side. simple lca adjustment and that solved that.

best 1/8th last night was 6.09 @ 113, i let out before the 1/8th cone, 60' that pass was 1.42.

made a bunch more 1/8th hits and shut down to pull plugs on the return road. a few 6.12-6.18's

at 11pm right when they called staging lanes were closing we rushed up for a last run, bottle pressure was low, between 850-800 about 750 at the end of the pass. decided to make a full pass, pedaled it twice, went 1.46 60', 6.27 @ 114, 9.68 @ 143.

im very happy with how the cars been working. we've made leaps and bounds improvements and are now ready to start to add timing back in this thing and lean on it a little bit. currently pulling 10deg from 28deg on a 200 shot w/ ngk 10's and 114 in the tank.

i actually fab'd them up myself. just used some steel stock and welded two small tabs with holes in them to the upper frame rail or whatever you wanna call it, put the chain in between the tabs and a bolt that sleeves thru them. and on the control arm side i have umi tubular lowers there is a hole for a quick link that i looped thru the chain and connected to control arm. i just use the quick link to change the limiter length usually counting links at a time. i can take more pics if you'd like. I actually have them full loose now, trying to get the car to plant. i believe we're going to fab up different lower control arm brackets for the rear b/c my bmr ones only have 2 holes and i need to get the arm lower to help my instant center out.

Saw your car last night. I knew you guys were holding back all night. I was awaiting the unleashing of the beast! Glad you guys were able to test things out and not hurt the car. Few times got scarry. Got a feeling this thing will be making full passes like nothing in the VERY near future! Best of luck!

What air pressure were you running that tire looks wadded up pretty good.

What settings did you have the shocks on?

Time slips are looking good!
