a guy i know runs 11.20's with a stock longblock lt1 and an a4. if he can do it im sure it can be done with an ls1 also. not sure of his exact weight but his weight reduction mods are no backseat and no spare tire and jack so if hes under 3500 lbs its not by much. o yeah its with a 150 nx wet kit.

TNT 100 shot
Vig3200
MTI lid
HPP3
MAFT
Loudmouth
That got me 11.54 @ 116mph w/ 1.58 60ft.
if i would have ran a lock up switch i would have gotten a better time, but not worth wrecking the tranny for that. I have the rear seat and jack/spare removed, and that's it. Car is a t-top, leather, full optioned car, and i'm a little under 180

I ran an 11.50 @ 116mph with everything in the car except the spare tire and jack. That was with Heavy ZR-1's 17x11's in the rear and BFG Drag Radials. We are at 1250' also. Our DA' is usually around 2500'.

11.67 in a ss convertable just under 3900# on the scale. 160 flat in the short time at 115mph. That is with 3200 stall, under drive pulley, lid, mafs,125hp dry kit and 17" bfgdr's. If you are 400#'s lighter it shouldn't be any problem!!

Here are my numbers is my 98 Formula.
Weight was about 3650lbs.
All I had done was Lid, maf, 3"cutout, and a 150 shot. I went 11.81 @ 118.23 on BFG DR's in Las Vegas(2200 ft). Sea level could have been a lot better!!
So to answer your question. It is very easy to get an LS1 on N20 to run 11.50's!!

I had an 01' a4 Z28 with a stock motor, stock rearend, stock convertor. The best the car ran was 10.89@126 on a dual stage NOS setup. The car had mac headers, off road y pipe, whisper lid, free mods, short belt, dual stage nos setup, and prostars on all 4 corners.
The dual stage nos setup consisted of a 100 dry activated from a stop(full throttle switch), and a 100 wet activated around the 60'(button activated). Car ran strong and hard until I traded it in for the 02. Just fyi it ran a 7.19@96 in the 1/8th on a single 125 dry and same mods listed above.
Here's a pic of the nos setup:
