Default Dry Kit Question

I was looking into a Dry Kit. It's mostly for car shows but I also want it for back up
I took the screen out of my MAFT and was wondering if it's a bad thing with a dry kit? I heard by taking the screen out it "should" run lean. Any truth to this?

I have heard that you need to take the screen out of the MAF when you are spraying a dry shot.

Yes it is a good idea to take the screen out of the MAF when running a dry kit.

If you are wanting something to show why not go with something like the NX MAF kit?

Hey Bandit , I would stay with a dry kit due to the ease of install , And the duel nozzles in the lid look cool !!! , But yes , having your screen removed is a must for a dry system ... If you need any help let me know !!!

Thanks Billy, Sorry you couldn't join me and the other Smoky Mountain F-body guys at crossville last month. We had a good time even though the drag strip wasn't hooking up for us.

YOULL NEVER HOOK UP A 150 SHOT ON RADIALS, THE BEST WAY IS TO BUY THE NOS DRY KIT AND USE IT AS A 2 STAGE ABOUT 50 OFF THE HOLE AND 75 MORE AFTER THE 2ND SHIFT THIS WORKS GREAT ON THE STREET ON STREET TIRES, I USED IT WITH A FULL THROTTLE SWITCH AND ADDED A BUTTON FOR THE SECOND STAGE ALSO FULL THROTTLE
