Default LS3 150 shot problems

Quick rundown on whats going on. I have a camaro with a ls3 with h/c/i, 4l60 w/ss4000 and it usually runs 10.4s to 10.7s @ 128-130mph on motor. I recently put a nice plate kit on it with a 150 shot. The car feels fast but its not putting down a good time at the track. Best of a 10.24@132mph 1.44 60ft. Something seems off. The tune is good a little on the rich side 11.7afr but its not picking up like i thought it would on a 150 shot. Any suggestions??

Are you sure the bottle was full? Enough fuel pump? How much timing are you pulling on spray? You should be picking up ~10 mph on a 150 shot.

Your transmission clutches could also be slipping from the torque increase while on the bottle. A 150 Shot of N20 gives you approx. 180 ft. lb. of torque increase.

The bottle only had 2 short pulls on it so it was full enough. As far as timing it was at 24 degrees with a mix of 110 and 93 octane fuel. The car has 3 x pipe on it also. The mph isn't there but it feels strong all the wy down the track??

I'd lean it out and have Shane (Fap) pull a tad more timing.

What rear gear and tire size? I forgot to ask when I saw you.

The converter might be hurting you like mentioned earlier.

yea id try around 22 or 23 deg with a 62/31 or similar. but my guess would be that its blowing thru the converter as well. Arent the ss4000 known to be on the loose side of things? Also, i know you stated it didnt pick up in 1/4 et/mph as much as you thought. But looking at the full slips side by side. Did it pick up any at the 330', 1/8th, 1000' marks?

I'd guess the converter is slipping a lot more than you think. What are you shifting at and are you spraying through the shifts?

With a 3.50 gear and that converter on spray, I would put money on the converter being far too loose for spray.. That 3.50 gear will load the converter too much for what you are doing.

Also, you mentioned what it 60's on spray.. What does it do on HP?

I'm currently leaving on motor and turning on the spray immediately after the 60ft so that 1.44 was done n/a. Our track wasn't good enough that day to leave off the line on spray
