How much and how difficult to rebuild TNT N20 noid
I've found that when I turn on my bottle and purge it shortly after the car gets a surging idle. I turn off the bottle and it goes away. I'm sure this means I have a leaky solenoid. Sooo I'm curious as to how much it costs to rebuild or is there some other things I should check out before rebuilding? Has anyone sent theirs back to be rebuilt at TNT? How much turn around time and how much did it cost? Is this something I can do myself? Thanks for any and all replies!

It takes about 5 minutes to take apart. Theres only 7 parts to a solenoid.
1. the nut on top
2. the coil cover
3. the coil
4. the plunger housing (stud)
5. the plunger
6. the plunger spring
7. the base
It is very easy to rebuild. Youll habe to find the certain size wrench to take the noid apart. The NOS one wont fit. Call TNT for that.

lol, a punch, I didnt think about those. I have a few. I used a flatheaded screwdriver and hammer <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
The plunger fails ( the seal swells {wrong or bad gas} or gets a piece of dirt on it ) or the coil burns out, which is very rare occurance).
Im sure TNT sells the needed stuff <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
