Heads + Cam + Nitrous + 10.8:1

Heads + Cam + Nitrous + 10.8:1
Ok, here's my setup:
6.0L Heads, stage 2 CNC ported
Comp 226/232 112LSA
10.8:1 compression ratio
6800 redline
stock bottom end
t56
Basically a Nitrous setup.
I would like to build a wet kit, and supply it with race gas from a tank located where the battery is (I'd relocate the battery to the trunk).
I was going to run the Venom 2000 kit, with progressive controller, bottle heater, and window switch.
Start at 3000rpm with a 75 shot, 3500 with 100 shot, 4000 with 125 shot, 4500 with 150 shot.
or
Start at 3000rpm with a 50 shot, 3500 with 75 shot, 4000 with 100 shot
Do guys think the stock bottom end will be ok if done progressively like this with leaded race gas?
I was thinking of putting on some forged nitrous coated pistons, and leaving everything else stock.
From what I've researched it should hold... what do you guys think?
Also with the progressive controller, I think it'll also be easier on my transmission.
Thanks guys!!

Re: Heads + Cam + Nitrous + 10.8:1
If my motor is 11.1:1 Can I shoot it with a 100 shot and still run 94 octane gas?
If so how should it be tuned?
I have a ARE 346 short with boost pistons and arp rod bolts.
Sorry to hop in our your thread but I've asked this question a few time and have yet to get a good answer.

Shouldn't be that big a problem w/ pump gas on an 11:1 comp motor. ive seen a few motor buildups where they used comp in the low 11s and used premium gas.

I run nothing but 93 octane im my car. My timing is set at 23 degrees. She makes good power. You should take 1 degree for every 50 shot. I took alittle more just to be safe. I`m on my stock bottom and I don`t want to blow it. I think 552RWHP is enough for now! All I want is Mid 10`s and I`m happy! My comp is 10.5:1 She really runs strong from start to finish! Love it!

Re: Heads + Cam + Nitrous + 10.8:1
OK guys thanks.
Guess I'll have to upgrade the fuel system first.
I have H/C installed now it makes about 420rwhp. Will I need bigger injectors if put 100 dry shot to it?
Beard is your fuel pump a inline. Did you have to remove your old one if it is. Also did you change your regulator or is it stock?
Thanks Rob

Re: Heads + Cam + Nitrous + 10.8:1
I have a In-line fuel pump, I believe my regulator is still stock. I didn`t upgrade that I know of. I believe they removed my stock one. The T-Rex works really well. Love it! Lethal go with a wet kit from TNT. Get more TQ with it and I got 135RWHP on 100 shot with just 900psi on the bottle. I would for sure get a fuel pump and injectors(safety first) With 420 at the wheels a 100 shot would put you around 550rwhp and close to 600rwtq on a 6sp. My LS1 loves the sweet taste of spray! Once you get to 600rwhp you bottom is at the outer limits. But remember if you not on the edge, your taking up to much space!

Re: Heads + Cam + Nitrous + 10.8:1
OK, so if I run a 100 shot wet, you guys think on 10.8:1 compression, it'll be ok? Only gas available here is 91 octane.
I wanted to run the Venom system, which pulses your injectors for more fuel, as I thought it would be safer. Plus it'll turn off if the o2s read lean. I know the o2s aren't very accurate, but a lean condition is a lean condition.
Or would you guys recommend a wet NX or TNT system instead?
I've decided all I want to run for now is a 100 shot.
Please advise guys!!
Thanks
