Well i'm a HCI 6.0 plus a 100 shot, and have 4.10's as well. There is not enough gear for me to make a 1/4 mile pass, but it's a handful on the street lol. If you are wanting a gear specifically for the spray then the 4.10 is to much

410 you won't make it through the 1/4. I sprayed a 150 and had to step down to 3.73 with a 26 in tall tire. I was still on stock 17s. U may be able with a taller tire like a 28.

i have 4.11s and havent sprayed yet. i never thought of this before. so if 4.10s are too much, then 4.11s are way too much lol. would spraying at the top of 2nd help?

Why would you want to spray at the very top of 2nd? Wouldn't it make sense to spray right when you shift? With that said it might make a tiny difference but not much. I've tried that before in my Mustang and it still trapped almost the same either way
