Can I get away with an occasional 100hp dry shot (you know, just to keep up with the masses these days) TR55 plugs and a TCI 4400 conveter? I know it`s a bit too much `verter for spray and I know TR55`s are a little too hot but the nitrous use would be VERY limited, just now and then and NEVER more then the 100 jet. I also assume the stock fuel system should be o.k.?? Thanks.

When I first installed my n2o I had 4 degrees of KR and ran too lean with tr55's with just a 50 shot I changed to tr6's gapped at .038 and have no KR or lean issues with a 100 shot. I think its more of a issue of the gap on the tr55's that causes the problem over say .045 is just to wide for n2o. Also you don't need to try and gap them down they are a wide gap plug by design.

Thanks for the replys. So the TR55`s are out for sure then?? What about the stock fuel system? I was thinking of just going with the 5177 kit with the 100 jet, or a TNT dry kit with a 75 jet. Should the stock pump be able to keep up??

You SHOULD be fine with your stock fuel system. My car would get KR with a 100 shot dry though. I bought a MAFT and it fixed everything right up.
Just be sure to ATAP your first runs to make sure everything checks out good.
Good luck!

When I first got my 5177 kit, I was spraying the stock plugs. I know, shouldn't have, but I had no problems. Now, I use the TR6's gapped at .032, and spray a 150 shot on the stock fuel system. Never had any problems and never threw any codes. Plus, the A/F ratio stayed at 12.2:1 on the 150 shot.
