Questions about nitrous plate So when I bought my car it came with a bbk 85mm throttle body. I noticed that I havent come across a plate this size.
My question is can I just mill out one of the smaller ones to match the throttle body? Or can I use a plate of a different size?

LS6 Intake. With a little more time on my hands I learned that the LS6 intake is 78mm. My throttle body is 85mm. I guess now I have to take off the TB and measure to see if the intake was port matched. But if it isnt. What kind of issue would I run into. Or does another plate work?
If it isn't port matched, I'd run the 78mm plate kit. You won't lose anything, and it's a lot nicer set up.
If it is port matched, I'd run a nozzle. Otherwise, you're wasting it being port matched.

Ah, I was hoping there was enough space in the back for that to not be an issue. If it isn't port matched then and has bigger than 78mm TB, sell it and buy a stock TB?

Thanks for all the information guys. Ill measure the blade. Brandon Im really looking into using one of your guy's kits. Could I just mill out a 78mm plate to a 85mm? If you happen to know.

Man, unfortunately the 78mm plate doesn't have enough area to mill out. We could put the Money Maker into the intake if you're against running a nozzle.
