I am new to the A4 world always been m6 but I shot my 98 a4 for the first time this weekend

With a. 1.64 sixty. 7.5 @91mph.

I want to get my car into the 6s 8th stock interal. Is this possible?

I have ls6 intake LT 3500 stall 3.73 sub frames and 26 inch MTs with a 100shot & tune.


Will I need to put a cam for 6s? Or what do YALL think? Thanks

 

I have run high 7.2 to 7.3 stock internal with a 100 shot, full weight and very similar mods to you.

I think 6's are very possible if you start taking weight out of the car.

And that was flashing the stall and shooting about 3 foot out but letting off the nitrous over shifts bc of the stock 4l60e . Was only a 100 shot as well. May go to 175 as the car seemed to want more than the 100

I can't decided weather to build the car up or flash the converter. Since it did the same 60 on motor building it as it did flashing it on nitrous. Bike put oil all over the track and I left after those two passes lol. What do Yall think? Thanks again

 

Absolutely. We have been 6.9xx in a stock c5 vette on a 200 shot.

A cam will help OP, but the main thing thats going to help you is traction and upping the shot.

I now have the sway bar off the front and the bumper supports lightened plus a set of 90/10s on the front & LCA relocation brackets in the back And upped it to a 150 shot I was on low tire psi last time going to try a little higher this time for mph

my current car was setup similar. Bought it from a friend. Has bolt ons, 4000 stall, 3.73 gears and tuned. It went 11.6@114 and 10.9@123 on 100 shot. The old owner had it gutted though. His name on here is DOUBT IT.

Haven't taken it down the track since the updates but it def feels like a whole dif car now. I'm hoping 6s maybe.
