Default Plug opinions

I have a Ls1 with a Super Victor intake and a 4150 plate kit .062n .046f. 91 pump gas in the main tank and have c16 in the stand alone system. The plugs are NGK BR7EF. The air fuel is rich wide band reads 11.0- 11.2, next night out I'm going to switch to a .043f jet. Total timing is 30 degrees I'm pulling 5 right now on the bottle.

I'd like some opinion on the spark plugs, The plugs aren't 100% clean, they only have 1 full pass on them, but I did brain fart and idled the car as I loaded and unloaded it off the trailer before pulling the plugs.

Here is a closer picture of #7 it look a bit different from the rest.

Is there any way that you can cut the threads off the plugs and expose the base of the porcelain. Do you know if you have a 1st gen Stinger or 2nd Gen?

I can cut them, I haven't done it yet. It is a gen 1 Stinger plate.

Did you base your tune up off of this sheet or off of the jetting card supplied with the kit?

I based it off of this jet chart, since I have the .122 and .187 solenoids I'm also running 7psi fuel pressure in the standalone system.

I was going to switch to a .043 based on the sheet you posted.

Can you tell me a little bit more about the motor? Is that a 7 heat range plug? I'd like to see the porcelain on #7.

Don't like the specs on 2,3,4,5,6,7, and maybe 8 ?

7 looks to be hotter than the rest (gap the same ?)

Magnified to 450%...looks a little lean (but pic isn't that great at that %)

Can you take pics in the macro setting ?

Specs on the engine are:
347ci Ls1
Forged Eagle 6.125" rods and Wiseco -3.2cc pistons
11.1 comp.
Steel top piston rings gap is .029 top and .032 2nd (ring gaps were set for 350+hp nitrous)
BTR stage 4 nitrous cam 239/250 .620''/.596'' 112LSA
TEA 243 Stage 2 heads milled to 59cc with Lunati dual .650" springs
Edelbrock Super Victor intake
Accufab 4150 throttle body
Texas Speed 1 7/8" headers

Yes they are 7 heat range plugs

I have too much idling and driving around time on these plugs, to be very useful now. I'm going back out to the track Sat. night, I'll make a run and pull them right away.

All spark plug gaps are the same .032, I checked them all before I put them in the engine.

I have no idea what macro setting is.

On your camera it will look like a flower icon. It's for really up close shots (like doing pics of flowers or bugs...really small stuff.

I went back to the track last night, Everything remained the same except I pull 1 more degree of timing. Stand alone fuel psi was 6.5, .062n .046f. 91 pump gas and c16 in the stand alone system. The plugs are NGK BR7EF. Total timing was 30 degrees I pulled 6. No idle this time, shut it down and pulled the plugs

Cyl #8 was the hot one

Fuel ring is light on a couple plugs

I think the tune up looks good. It's on the verge of needing a #8 plug. Cylinder 5 looks to actually be a little leaner than 8 even though 8 has a more defined timing mark.

It was a little low on fuel pressure for the .046 jet. I thought it was set at 7psi but turned out to be 6.5psi. So I adjusted it up to 7.5.

You flowed the fuel side with the 46 jet right?

No, I don't have a flow tool. I'm starting with the jet sizes listed on the jet charts.
