Nitrous Z06 at the Texas Mile

Nitrous Z06 at the Texas Mile
We took 2 C6 Z06's to the mile, one boosted and one on nitrous. Both cars ran personal best this year. The boosted car on 18 lbs and the nitrous car on a 400 shot.
The nitrous car:
2008 C6 Z06
427 Built by Nickens Brothers in Conroe (LS7 Block & Heads)
TR6060 built by RPM
Directport & Plate from Nitrous Outlet
Current Build done at Jeditekk Performance in Bryan
Tuned by LSX Power Tuning
It makes 600rwhp NA on pump gas and little over 1,000 rwhp on nitrous. Its being sprayed in 3rd, 4th, and 5th the whole time (about 18 seconds with nitrous on). We only had a single 15lb bottle in the car so the pressure was dropping toward the end of the run costing a little mph. The car was also having issues shifting into 5th gear at high rpm every pass, would shift at 7,000rpm and it wouldnt go into 5th until rpms dropped to around 4,000-4,500rpm. We are already making changes to car to make it a little easier to drive next time and hope to squeeze another mph or two out of it. Its a mint street car that gets drove around and you could literally jump in it and take it cross country tomorrow.
