How much should I spray? Hello all, I have an ls1 383 stroker I am thinking of giving some gas just wondering what would be a safe amount to spray? And should I go Direct Port or Plate?
Lunati voodoo crank and rods
CP Bullet forged flat tops (ring gap for n/a)
ARP rod bolts
AFR 230cc heads
Cometic .040 head gasket
ARP Head bolts
FAST 102 throttle body and manifold
11.75:1 comp running e85 fuel
I was looking at n2o outlets hardline plate system and a progressive controller for a simpler install but not opposed to a direct port setup if that's the way to go. Thanks!

No track or dyno in this current form but hoping for 500rwhp n/a. Getting it on a dyno in a couple of weeks. I'll check with the engine builder as to what gap he ran. The car ran 124mph on unleaded and stock 241 heads and bugger all timing due to detonation problems. Hence new AFR V2 230CC heads, new fuel system and e85. The cam is 248/258 112lsa .620 lift on both set up at 11.75:1 comp
Was hoping to run at least a 100 shot and go from there. Size of the shot will depend how close to a 10 second quarter I can get n/a.

I'm at 3750lb and t56 manual making it hard to cut a good 60ft. Its a 2003 HSV Maloo which has basically the same chassis as the 04 GTO. Same independent rear suspension set up which sucks haha. With the new heads and a much better tune up this time around it should be a lot quicker. It ran that 124mph on only 19* timing due to detonation. I have 24 degrees in it now with no knock so will see if it likes more when I hit the dyno.

I could skip the gas and swap to a th400 box and run 10s all day but that would take the fun out of it. I don't seen many manual nitrous cars over here in Australia at the track as everyone seems to be running turbos. If I cant run a 10 n/a on a radial which I think will be hard for me to do I will go the nitrous option to get me there. If my ring gap is a bit tight for a bigger shot could anyone see problems with 100-150 shot?

That's a nice engine. I wouldn't go anything lower then a 250 shot with a dedicated. If money is not an issue then go direct port and do a 300 to 350. But i spray a .88 nitrous jet thru my stock bottom ls1. C16 in dedicated. Progressed and delayed just a little bit. #8 plug and it's taking it all day.

I tune off my wideband. I'm not about to start pulling plugs out and cutting them apart. As long as I'm running 11.2 afrs I'm happy.
I pull 9 degrees out, soft tune, good gas, and correct plugs. Can't really mess up.
