Default All those running an Electric Fuel Pressure Gauge

Who is running an Autometer Electric Fuel Pressure Gauge? Is the electric unit accurate? Was it hard to hookup? Any info on this gauge is appreciated!!

its fairly accurate. Id say within +/- 2 psi. The newest ones that dont have the external hookup box are much asier to hooku. I like mine ok.

I like mine too, you just need to get the adapter for the sender unit and hook it into your fuel rail, after that its just some basic wiring. I guess I always thought it was accurate but I do not have a mechanical one to check it against.

Yeah the guage will come with a 1/8" sender that you attach to these fittings.

Mike, mine came with the gage. I put a small AN fiting and line from the schrader valve to a "T" - used one to fuel sl of the nitrous system and one to the sending unit. Easy.

You should be able to find a distribution block similar to this one. We made this one so it's not perfect, but functional.

Heres another question for you guys. I run a seperate fuel system for my nitrous. I have it setup so when I arm the nitrous, the second fuel pump kicks on (I sumped the stock tank) with a mallory fuel pump and a return.

My question is, I am concerned about the 2nd fuel system, the one providing the fuel for the nitrous. I run 7 psi for the direct port setup. Do I still hookup to the shrader valve? I don't want the fuel pressure gauge reading the pressure of the fuel injectors. I want the fuel pressure gauge to kick on when I arm the nitrous (the second system).

Please forgive me, I have no experience with gauge installation or wiring.
