Question Bottle pressure after refill

I have only had my bottle filled up once, and i was wondering if i got screwed on my fill or not. When i got the bottle filled it only showed 950 psi, i was just wondering if this was right. I have been running the 75 shot and i have only done like 8 full runs, and i only have 750 psi now. The bottle seems kinda light. So i was just wandering if i got screwed on the fill or not.

The best way to tell is to weigh your bottle.

Your probrably getting empty. It's hard to hold the bottle above 850psi with just a couple of pounds in it. Do you own a bottle heater? That's the only good way to control the bottle psi.

BTW: Right after I refill a bottle the pressure will be anywhere from 900 -1300psi depending on the tempeture (will be even lower if I freeze them first). You can't really religh on pressure to tell you just how much is in the bottle

You probably didn't get screwed on your fill. My bottle usually shows about 700-800 right after a fill, like that because the bottle's cold after a fill. Depending on the outside temp, you should be able to see 900-1000psi on a full bottle without a bottle warmer (during summer). If you don't have a bottle warmer during winter time, you will have trouble getting your bottle to optimum pressure. Nitro Dave's right, best way to tell is to weigh your bottle.

Actually your bottle should be pretty warm after a fill. Mine will get up to 1000 psi after one.

A bottle with any liquid left, will see its pressure
depend only on temperature (vapor pressure @
temp). You have to go by weight to know the
quantity of the goods.

Invest in a digital fish scale. They are cheap (like $20) at Wally world. Considering you got 8 runs out of the bottle on a 75 shot, I would say you got your full moneys worth. Get a bottle heater to get every ounce. You can get them as cheap as $60 along with a $30 adjustable pressure control switch.

33 pounds, and sometimes the bottle will get so hot from filling that you'll be hard pressed to get your entire 33lbs. But there is a cure, just hold your bottle upside down and open valve and spill a little n2o and you will feel the bottle temp come right down, allowing you to get your last few pounds.
