From my experience Zex is not. Bone stock LT1 T/A is really moving with their wet kit. went from a 14.7@96mph somewhat stock(CAI, and a LM also an A4 stock converter) to a 12.99@110mph so far with 125hp wet shot....and he has had a problem yet over year and a half to date. It was the easiest install i've done in a while. But wasn't trying to start a debate, just posting the cool things for us LS1/6 guys I've found on the sema page.

oh yeah, we are up at 5600ft so don't laugh at the times too hard.

sorry but its hard for me to believe a car drops almost 2 seconds from only a 125 shot.

What can I do then? Come up here and witness it yourself...its true I have no need to bullshit. I'm FI'ed and have no loyalty to any nitrous kit maker. I ran a NX kit on my LT1 and a TNT kit with my ATI D1 on the ol LS1. And frankly I laughed at him when he brought the ZEX kit to my place for installation, thought it was a ricer kit. I now know better. The car runs what it runs, it has 89,XXX miles on the clock and is as stock as I said it is. Loudmouth, CAI made by me, TR6's gapped@.032. Stock wires, stock ignition, 125 wet shot(using the jets that came with the kit) and a bottle heater. no cam, no roller rockers, no heads, no gears(3.23's) and isn't my car so I can care less.
Car consistently runs 13.1's@109-110 on the spray.

But again, I don't want to start a debate, just posting up sema goodies for us f-body guys.

He is right about a 2 second jump. Not saying the kits is junk, but for just a 125 shot thats cutting alot of time. With my 100 wet shot I got .7-.9 cut from my times. It`s just a big jump. It`s a good looking kit!!

Looks cheap. Whne you doing DP, you don't want to skimp. I'd stick with TNT or NX.

What looks cheap about it? From what I see it has, billet distribution blocks, braided lines and its all anodized or stainless, same as most others. The picture I saw it looks to be a nice setup.

Yeah, I would have made the line and stuff a little neater looking. I still think the kit looks to be a quality kit.

IMO the 2 second comment is valid. On spray you will get a better 60' assuming you can hook and cut lot's of time there. Two, there is the fact that it doesn't take much to take a car from the 15 to 14, it takes a little more power to go from 14 to 13 and then from 13 to 12 and so on. Yeah, I know about the 1 tenth equals 10rwh roughly. To tell you the truth that coment is only true for cars running 13 seconds to 11 second times. If all it took is 10hp for a 9 second car to go to from 9.7 to 9.8 id be surprized.

with the DA that high, the nitrous would add more than at sea level. Altitude in a bottle.

well, zex does seem to be the new kid on the block, but the braided lines over hard line is a blessing in disguise. any of you that have ever messed with a hard lined DP setup will definately agree. im not to big on the purple, and the fuel dist could use some modification, but otherwise, it looks pretty good IMO.

oh yeah, 14's to 12's is easy... 12's to 10's isnt.
