I would like to know the same thing, because I am thinking of getting this. What exactly does pulling the timing do when you spray, and is it safer and more efficent? Is the TT really worth the money and are the hp and/or saftey gains really worth it? Also I am gapped at 38 and run 93.

Thanks
Fry

the TT is DEFINITELY a GOOD thing.pulling timing allows you to runa high-hp shot and be safe to your motor and to keep it from getting knock retard and/or detonation(pre-ignition of cylinders).say you run a 150-shot off of 91-octane and pull 2-4* of timing(usually)and youll run cherry(in theory).i need to confirm this tho. anybody TT users?please post your situation.

on 150 I was pulling 3. Anymore and the car didn't pull as well.

Took a while for me to get shutoff point right. Thing always seemed to shutoff before it was suppose to. but once I got it all set, it worked GREAT.

So on 100 I should pull 2 then. Also, what timing tuner can I get that would let me still use my msd window switch. The full throttle tuner has the same rpm window funtion correct? I dont want to spend 300 bucks to get the tuner if I can get a cheaper one. What would yall recomend doing about that?

The timing tuner can control:
1. Adjustable nitrous on/off RPM limits (ie. RPM window switch) ...mine is set at 3000rpm on and 6000rpm off.
2. Base timing ...mine is set at 0 (ie. uses my GM computer's timing)
3. WOT timing ...mine is set at 0
4. Nitrous retard ...mine is set at -2deg. for 100 dry shot

My tuner takes a signal from the switched FTPS and the Nitrous solenoids are earthed through a FPSS.

I've been running the Ramchargers TT for a while & that's the only one that I would recommend.

With an LT1 you could run a regular MSD Digital 6 or 7, or just an MSD Retard box & Window switch. We have to have a special one for LS1's due to our crank signal's. LT1 cars can use the same type of setup you would use on just a regular SBC, due to only having a single coil.

Do you know off the top of your head if the Digital 6 or 7 has the same functions as the Ramcharger's TT? I like the whole integrated window switch, as well as timing retard only when the nitrous is activated.
